On Friday, June 20, 2025, a significant collaboration meeting took place at the Indonesian Navy Headquarters (MABES TNI AL), Cilangkap, East Jakarta, between the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) and the Indonesian Maritime Pilots’ Association (INAMPA).
The Chief of Naval Staff (KASAL), Admiral TNI Dr. Muhammad Ali, SE., MM., M.Tr.Opsla, accompanied by key Navy officials including the Vice Chief of Naval Staff (WAKASAL), Admiral Erwin S. Aldedharma, and several high-ranking officers, received the INAMPA delegation led by its President and executive board members.
This strategic engagement focused on strengthening collaboration in preparation for the 27th International Maritime Pilots’ Association (IMPA) Congress to be held in Bali, Indonesia, in 2026. Discussions emphasized maritime security, pilotage safety, and national port interests, with active participation from INAMPA advisors and representatives of port enterprises (BUP).
This joint effort reflects a shared commitment to enhancing Indonesia’s maritime capabilities and global engagement in the maritime pilotage community.
